I am constantly amazed at the difference between the Modern mind and the Post-Modern mind. I often hear that Post-Moderns don't think differently, but instead only believe differently. The problem is I have heard people from the 'Emergent' crowd explain their ideas and Moderns completely miss what they were saying and instead interpreting their ideas as heresy or at least close to heresy. Of course it does happen the other way around, but I would argue less because many of the Post-Modern thinkers of today have grown up conversing with the modern world. It will be interesting to see where this divide in thinking will go.
